Surf swimsuit
Accustomed to surfing in waves of less than one metre, the intermediate surfer takes a lot of risks as she dares to progress. It is therefore essential that she does not waste time or attention readjusting her swimsuit! That’s why we designed our high-waisted NORA briefs. Its wide waistband with a body-shaping mesh provides a very good hold in the waves, as tested by our panel of intermediate surfers. With a medium feminine cut.
Dry sizing and wet sizing
To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, and you should feel supported. Intermediate surfer
You regularly go surfing. Whether you be a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other water sports: stand up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.
Stays in place in the waves
We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye, South-West France. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.
Comfortable swimsuit
Our work centres on helping women to feel good in our swimsuits. The bust is not flattened, the bottoms don’t dig in, and the level of coverage varies. Our mission is to ensure that every woman can find a swimming costume that suits her body, whatever her shape or size.
No plastic stickers
From 2022, all women’s swimsuits designed by Decathlon will be sold without plastic hygiene stickers.
