This specific colour is particularly light since it's made up only of a coloured varnish. It does, nonetheless, have the same durability properties as a traditional paint (resistance to blows, stone chips, etc.). This painting technique highlights the carbon fibres of the frame. So it's completely normal to see the fibres, especially when the frame is exposed to daylight - it is not a crack or a chip.
