Returns and Exchanges Shopping online is different from shopping in a physical store, where you can hold a product, inspect it, and immediately decide whether it meets your expectations. That is why we offer you the option to exchange or return items within 30 days. Please ensure that returned items are sent back in a condition that allows us to offer them to another customer as a new product. Once your return has been received and inspected by our returns department, we will refund the purchase amount as quickly as possible and no later than 4 days after receiving the return. Return Conditions Register your return within 30 days of receiving your order and send the item back to us within 14 days after registering the return. The item, original packaging, all accessories, and any included manuals or documentation must be complete, undamaged, and in like-new condition. Clothing, socks, and shoes must not have been worn and must still have their original tags attached. If the Return Conditions Are Not Met We will always try to find a suitable solution. However, if a product is damaged or incomplete and can no longer be sold as new, a reduction in the refund amount may apply. Possible deductions include: Missing accessories: Depending on the type and value of the missing accessories, up to 15% of the purchase price may be deducted. Returns outside the return period: Returns submitted after the return period can generally no longer be accepted. Damaged or missing original packaging: Since the item may be more difficult to sell as new, a deduction of 10% to 25% of the purchase price may apply, depending on the condition. Minor signs of use or small scratches: A reduction in value of approximately 25% may be applied. Significant damage: For major damage, a reduction of up to 50% of the purchase price may apply. In exceptional cases, the item may have no residual value. How to Return an Item Log in to your customer account at decathlon and select which item you would like to return. A brief explanation helps us improve our products and product descriptions. If your return meets the requirements, you will receive a return label from us. Carefully package the item to prevent damage during transport. Attach the return label to the package and deliver it to the designated shipping point. Please keep your proof of postage until the return has been fully processed. What Happens After We Receive Your Return? Once your package has arrived, our returns department will inspect the item and its packaging. If the return meets the conditions described above, we will process your refund as quickly as possible and no later than 4 days after receiving the return. If any issues are identified during the inspection, we will contact you in advance to inform you of the situation and any possible costs or deductions.
4.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal When purchasing goods through distance selling, the consumer has the right, in accordance with applicable legal provisions, to withdraw from the purchase agreement within 30 days after receiving the goods without stating any reason. The withdrawal period starts on the day the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, receives the goods. After notifying the withdrawal, the customer has an additional 14 days to return the goods to CHEAPOUTDOOR. The customer must notify CHEAPOUTDOOR of the withdrawal in writing via Decathlon within the 30-day withdrawal period. The customer is responsible for proving that the goods were returned on time, for example by providing proof of shipment. The goods should be returned, where possible, in their original packaging, including all accessories and accompanying documentation, and in a new and undamaged condition. After receipt and inspection of the returned goods, CHEAPOUTDOOR will refund the full purchase amount, including any original shipping costs charged, via Decathlon within a maximum of 4 working days. The return of the goods is at the customer’s own risk. 4.2 Limitations of the Right of Withdrawal The right of withdrawal described in Article 4.1 applies exclusively to goods and does not apply to services for which CHEAPOUTDOOR acts solely as an intermediary or representative. 4.3 Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal The right of withdrawal does not apply to: Goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market over which the trader has no control; Goods made according to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized goods; Goods which, due to their nature, are not suitable for return, for example for hygiene reasons or because they are liable to deteriorate or expire quickly; Sealed audio or video recordings and computer software where the seal has been broken after delivery; The supply of newspapers and magazines; Services related to betting and lotteries. 4.4 Exercising the Right of Withdrawal If you wish to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you must notify us via Decathlon within the 30-day withdrawal period. After your notification, you will receive a return label from us. You then have 14 days to return the goods. Please return the product as completely as possible, including all accessories, in the original packaging, and in accordance with our reasonable and clear return instructions. The customer bears the risk and the burden of proof regarding the correct and timely exercise of the right of withdrawal. 4.5 Refund The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any additional fees for the refund. 4.6 Handling of the Goods During the Withdrawal Period During the withdrawal period, you are required to handle the goods and packaging with care. You may only unpack and inspect the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, in the same way as you would be permitted to do in a physical store. If the goods are returned damaged due to handling that goes beyond what is necessary to inspect the product, the customer may be held liable for any resulting loss in value. 4.7 Warranty and Guarantee CHEAPOUTDOOR warrants that the goods supplied conform to the contractual agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, and the reasonable requirements of usability and quality. Consumers are entitled to a warranty period of two (2) years from the date of receipt of the goods. This warranty period is without prejudice to any mandatory statutory rights to which the consumer may be entitled under applicable law. If a defect arises within the warranty period, the customer must notify CHEAPOUTDOOR within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. Upon assessment of the defect, CHEAPOUTDOOR will, at its sole discretion, provide a repair, replacement of the product, or an appropriate refund, provided that the defect is not the result of improper use, normal wear and tear, or modifications made to the product by the customer or a third party. Nothing in this provision shall affect the consumer’s statutory rights. However, the customer shall not be liable for any reduction in value if CHEAPOUTDOOR failed to provide the consumer with the legally required information regarding the right of withdrawal before the conclusion of the purchase agreement.
