To return a product, register your return in your Decathlon customer account under ‘My purchases’. Standard returns: You are responsible for the return shipping costs for standard parcels (e.g. smaller products). We will send you an unstamped return label. This will save you CHF 1.50 on shipping costs with Swiss Post. Bulky goods returns: For bulky items (e.g. particularly heavy or large products), we will organise the return shipment or send you a suitable return label. A return fee of CHF 49 will be charged for this, which will be deducted directly from your refund amount. Example: For a product price of £200, we will refund £151. Important note: Please ensure that the item is in perfect condition and include all necessary documents with the parcel.
We may refuse to refund the value of the goods until we have received the goods back. We may make the return dependent on the advance payment of transport costs. The right of return is excluded if the goods are damaged or if the goods show signs of use that are attributable to handling of the goods that was not necessary to determine the nature, quality and functionality of the goods.
We grant all customers the right to return the goods received without giving reasons within 100 days by returning the goods under the following conditions. The return period begins after the goods have been received in full. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the goods back in good time. Furthermore, there is no right of return for: - used or copyable items - the delivery of goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly tailored to the personal needs of the customer; - the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and whose seal has been removed after delivery; - contracts in which the customer has expressly requested Sport-Thieme AG to visit them in order to carry out urgent repair or maintenance work; however, the right of return applies here to goods and services that were provided in addition, that the customer did not expressly request or that are not absolutely necessary.
The statutory warranty period is two years and begins upon delivery of the goods. Further claims for direct or indirect damage are excluded. The warranty claim expires for damage resulting from improper handling and damage caused by the buyer. It does not apply to natural wear and tear. Obvious defects must be reported to us in writing immediately, at the latest within 10 days of receipt. Hidden defects must be reported to us within 10 days of their discovery at the latest. The date of receipt of the notification is decisive for compliance with the deadline. If the notification is not made in good time, the warranty claims expire. In the event of a complaint, the customer is obliged to return the defective goods to us upon request. Notwithstanding the above warranty, we grant an additional guarantee under the following conditions. Commercial buyers who purchase the goods for resale are excluded from our guarantee. We generally grant a 3-year guarantee, unless otherwise stated on the item. Your statutory warranty rights, in particular those relating to subsequent performance, reduction, withdrawal and compensation, which can be exercised free of charge, remain unaffected by our guarantee. Guarantees apply for the period from the handover of the goods to the buyer until the expiry of the respective guarantee period. The warranty claim is primarily limited to rectification of defects (repair) or replacement delivery. If repair or replacement delivery is not possible or is not sought by Sport-Thieme AG, Sport-Thieme AG has the right to refer the customer to rescission (cancellation of the purchase contract) or reduction (reduction of the purchase price). The delivery time can be found in the information for the respective item. Deliveries are only possible to delivery addresses in Switzerland. Unless otherwise agreed, final unloading at the place of receipt is the responsibility of the recipient. All freight shipments are delivered by road to the address you have specified. In the case of freight shipments, you are obliged to inform us of any restrictions on delivery traffic known to you before dispatch.
