Thermal testing
An independent laboratory tested this backpack according to the EN 12546-2 standard. At an ambient temperature of 32°C, it took 7 hours for the contents (water, in this case) to warm from 5°C to 15°C. With an ice pack, the time extended to 10 hours.
Trialled in the wild
Once the technical testing was complete, the backpack was sent out into the field with a panel of partners, ambassadors, and customers. Their feedback confirmed that it is durable, practical, and effective on real hikes.
