The Quechua range is designed in collaboration with outdoor enthusiasts. During product development, we ask our panel to test new equipment and give us feedback to improve it.
Thermal testing
This backpack has been certified by an external lab according to the EN 12546-2 standard. In an air temperature of 32°C, the contents stayed cool (5-15°C) for 8 hours. With an ice pack, the food stayed cool for 12 hours.
Trialled in the wild
After our engineers were satisfied, we recruited a tester panel of partners, ambassadors and customers. They tried and approved the backpack in real outdoor conditions.
