Repair & replace
As designers and outdoor enthusiasts who love our playground, we care about making durable products. That’s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available in your Decathlon store workshop or directly on our website.
Everything you need to know
We collaborate with partner laboratories to drive innovation and support the development of our Quechua tents.
Wind Resistance
We rigorously test our tents in a wind tunnel using a turntable, ensuring every side is exposed to equal wind intensity. When properly pitched and secured with guy ropes, this tent remains stable and comfortable in winds of up to 50 km/h (Force 6).
Waterproofing
In the laboratory, we simulate tropical rain by subjecting the tent to 200 litres of water per hour per m² for three hours—equivalent to 200 mm of rainfall.
In the field, our teams confirm performance in real conditions. This tent is equipped with a 2,000 mm polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet, heat-sealed seams, and a robust 140 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet, ensuring full protection against the elements.

Quick and easy to set up camp
The colour-coded pole system makes pitching simple, so you can spend less time setting up and more time enjoying the outdoors.
Natural light, UV protection
Our UPF 30 fabric filters sunlight while blocking harmful UV rays, creating a shaded, comfortable space.
