Is the rubber base enough to protect my floor?
While its coating helps prevent scratches, it is no substitute for a dedicated protective cover. Whatever the weight you are lifting, always place your kettlebells on a suitable stand. The ideal solution? Our mat (ref: 8873350), designed to withstand impacts.
Our products are made from at least 80% recycled cast iron
Since 2018, our teams have been gradually integrating recycled materials until we reached the perfect balance. Following several years of experiments, Decathlon is replacing its entire range of cast iron products with recycled cast iron made from at least 80% scrap metal and steel waste – a real feat for the world of metal! How to store your kettlebell
"Underneath the rubber layer is cast iron, which can be damaged by humidity. It is therefore preferable to store the kettlebell indoors and in a dry place, on a rubber mat (part no. 8651539), to avoid damaging your floor. To maintain your kettlebell, you can use a damp cloth or microfibre cloth."

Our trainer's advice for improving your training (2/2)
For each exercise, start with the lowest number of reps (ensure that you don't go until failure, and leave a margin of 2 reps compared to your maximum), then increase by one rep per week until you reach the higher number in the recommended range. You can then increase your weight. For a greater challenge, you can build running in between your rounds, or reduce (or even remove) your recovery time.
