The thumbwheel allows you to change easily from 100lm, to 300lm, and then to 900lm;or from 900 lm, to 300lm, to 11lm. . And the light tilting system is 100% fluid:you are free to set it as you like. The focused and central beam allows you to see as well as in broad daylight.Finally, the CREE XP-L2 LED is so powerful that you can run all night in 100lm mode.The 900lm setting applies to the boost mode, perfect for more technical sections.The LED offers 6200 Kelvin.
GUARANTEED BATTERY LIFE DURING YOUR ULTRA RUNS
Reliable and efficient, the battery is detachable and very easy to unclip.However, once attached, it stays firmly in place.Batteries are also sold individually so you can carry a stock in your bag for long-distance trail running. the ONTRAIL 900 has 3 lighting modes:> maximum power of 900 lumens, to avoid overheating, this power will gradually decrease to 350 lumens after 2.5 hours. > in the second mode of 300 lumens, the light's battery life increases to 3.5 hours without losing power (constant current).

The 10 trail runners who field tested the ON TRAIL 900 lumens headlamp report that they were amazed by the comfort and hold of the product. A LONG-TERM UNDERTAKING
So, we're going to try to be as objective as possible:we're very very proud of the ON TRAIL 900 headlamp!We have to say that it almost didn't get created.And with good reason, because 900lm requires a lot of energy and therefore heat to be dissipated, without compromising the battery life of the product.In sum, our pride is in line with our ambitions, which were realised after 4 years of development: a headlamp designed to be worn all night and/or fast, whatever the weather conditions.

"As a user of the headlamp myself, I can say that the 100-lumens mode, which is already very powerful, is more than sufficient at night.And overall, a long-distance trail run involves 70% walking, therefore the 900 lumens only needs to be activated for reassurance during more technical downhills. Also, I recommend wearing the ON TRAIL 900 headlamp over a headband or cap for more comfort and support in case of heavy sweating."
Is your lamp overheating?
Despite its compactness, this lamp is very powerful.So, when you use your lamp at high wattage, the luminous unit (the front panel) will heat up. However, it's important to understand that our lamps need to be in motion to cool down, thanks to heat dissipation.A lamp used statically and/or in a confined environment will heat up abnormally, so it's important not to use it at high wattage.
