This pair complies with standard EN 388 4.X.4.3.D, the European reference for measuring the resistance of protective gloves against mechanical hazards. It also complies with standard EN 407 X.1.X.X.X.X, which specifies the thermal protection levels for safety gloves. Unlike the EN 388 mechanical standard, it measures resistance to heat and flames.
Nitrile foam coated palm
Unlike standard nitrile (which is smooth and rigid), nitrile foam acts as a micro-sponge.
It absorbs micro-films of liquid, providing a non-slip grip: this prevents the knife from slipping during butchery, for example, which is the number one cause of accidents (when an object slips, you grip it tighter, and that’s when you cut yourself). Finally, the honeycomb structure of the foam allows air to circulate more freely, reducing perspiration compared to a solid coating.
Nitrile-reinforced thumb crotch
