The Quechua camping range is created hand-in-hand with camping enthusiasts. From our design centre in the French Alps, every product goes through rigorous testing — indoors and out.
Technical testing
At our Research & Development centre, engineers put this mattress through a full series of lab tests, measuring sleeping comfort, durability and resilience. Mechanical stress tests ensure it performs reliably over time.
Trialled in the wild
Once the prototype is ready, it’s time to take it outdoors. A panel of engineers, customers and partners tested this mattress in real camping conditions, helping us refine and approve the final design.
How to inflate properly
Over-inflated mattresses are more susceptible to punctures. Test the pressure by sitting on your mattress. You should feel the floor near your bottom. That’s just right: when you lie down, the air will spread under your body and comfort should be perfect! If you’re using a pump, the correct pressure level is 0.3 to 0.5 PSI. You can use any Quechua pump to inflate your mattress.
Repairing a puncture
A puncture is the most common reason inflatable mattresses get thrown away. But the fix is simple: just use the self-adhesive patch included with this mattress.
