The Box Components One Prime 9,126-link DLC chain is protected by a double coating. The nickel plating that contributes to corrosion resistance is complemented by a 'Diamond-Like Carbon' layer. DLC is as sophisticated as it sounds; a synthetic diamond nano-coating that increases hardness and wear resistance. All Prime 9 chains have chamfered edges, solid plates and strong pins to guarantee durability. The unique inner link width is designed to fit wide / narrow chainrings.
