This is the 40th edition of a model that has become legendary over the decades: the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40. It is undoubtedly the most versatile and all-around shoe in the Nike Running range. It is lightweight, dynamic, yet remains very comfortable over longer distances. This latest generation features notable improvements, starting with enhanced comfort in sensitive areas of the foot. Although considered a neutral shoe, it still provides good stability and support over the kilometers.
The customized support offered by this shoe ensures perfect balance from heel strike to forefoot push-off. It is the must-have shoe for runs of any distance.
For the midsole, the Pegasus 40 features Nike React foam technology. Both lightweight and durable, it guarantees maximum responsiveness while maintaining cushioning on hard surfaces. In addition, this foam retains its original shape run after run for optimal performance. It also incorporates two Zoom Air units (in the heel and forefoot) for better bounce and excellent propulsion.
The mesh is a single-layer construction for unmatched comfort while retaining elasticity and flexibility. The midfoot strap has been redesigned to provide a fit that conforms to your foot shape. This ensures it adapts to all types of arches.
