The wax creates a water- and dirt-repellent protective layer, reducing dirt build-up on the chain and extending its life. What's more, the wax retains its excellent performance even in cold, damp weather. INSTRUCTIONS Degrease the chain before using Chainwax. To do this, use a degreaser such asAirolube Super Degreaser. Then apply Chainwax to a dry chain, one drop on each link is sufficient. Allow the wax to soak in for 15 minutes, then wipe off excess Chainwax with a dry cloth. After a long ride or in wet weather, wipe the chain with a dry cloth. Apply a fresh coat of chainwax to each link, and the bike's chain will be ready for its next outing.
