The lightweight stirrup Lavello is made of aluminium, reinforced with L-shaped steel and a powder coating. This makes the stirrup very strong and durable. Product Features: The hinge safety mechanism is made of plastic that bends so the foot can be removed from the stirrup. The rider's weight triggers the stirrup to open in case of a fall. This way, the foot doesn't get stuck in the stirrup. As soon as the foot leaves the stirrup, it automatically closes. The sole is equipped with a non-slip pattern so that dirt doesn't stick to the stirrup. The stirrup sole is slightly angled, ensuring that the heel remains well down. The angled stirrup leather holder ensures a proper position of the stirrup, so the foot is well positioned. This provides more stability for the rider and improves the position of the leg.
