The Sport-Thieme Competition barbell bar: designed for heavy loads The Sport-Thieme Competition barbell bar is made of special steel and 220 cm long. The grip section is knurled, making it easier for the athlete to hold the bar. Together with spring collars (must be ordered separately), the sleeve’s design firmly keep the weight plates in place. Theres a choice of two barbell variants: one has a maximum capacity of 450 kg and the other can be loaded with up to 700 kg.
