The PETZL Basic clamp features a compact design that offers excellent grip, reducing fatigue during ascent and pulley operations. Its ergonomic design allows for precise and secure handling in working at height conditions.
The trigger is made of stainless steel for better corrosion resistance and increased durability. The drainage slot and spikes ensure reliable operation even when the rope is wet, frozen, or muddy.
Designed for ropes with a diameter of 8 to 11 mm, the Basic is suitable for ascending fixed ropes as well as being used as a backstop in pulley systems. It is ideal for work at height, pulley operations, and rope progression.
The large lower hole allows for easy connection of lanyard and footloop carabiners, while the upper hole is designed for clipping the rope, facilitating integration into PPE systems and PETZL accessories.
The clamp weighs 85 g, is available in steel/grey color, and meets CE EN 567 and CE EN 12841 type B standards, ensuring compliance for professional use at height.
