The SCHWALBE Aerothan BMX is an ultra-light TPU inner tube designed for demanding BMX riding in the park, street and flatland. Its reinforced Aerothan Plus wall provides excellent puncture protection and remains stable even at low tyre pressures. Compared with equivalent standard Schwalbe tubes, it can reduce wheel weight by approximately 180 g (6.3 oz).
The low rolling resistance is maintained despite the increased wall thickness. According to the manufacturer, the construction provides 80% greater puncture resistance and 20% more protection against pinch flats. The tube is heat resistant, approved for rim brakes and easy to install.
