The NEOX from PETZL is an assisted braking belay device for indoor and outdoor climbing. Ideal for lead climbing, it features an integrated wheel that provides extremely smooth rope sliding for quickly giving slack to the climber. Its ergonomic handle allows for comfortable descent control. It is compatible with all single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm. Features: - Assisted braking belay device optimized for lead climbing: - allows for lead climbing and top rope belaying, - optimized for lead climbing with an integrated wheel for smooth rope sliding, - comfortable belaying with assisted braking: during a fall or when the climber rests, the rope tightens, the wheel locks, and the cam pivots to pinch the rope. - Ease of use: - simple rope installation with engraved markings on the device, - common handling across all Petzl belay devices, maintaining a hand on the braking side of the rope, - assisted braking cam offering great tolerance for hand positioning on the braking side, regardless of the angle between the climber's rope and the braking side, - compatible with all dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm, optimized for diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm. - Descent control: - comfortable grip and easy rope release with the ergonomic handle, - 3:1 mechanical advantage for better control of rope movement on smaller diameters and less effort on larger rope diameters. - Specifications - Weight: 235 g - Rope compatibility: single rope from 8.5 to 11 mm - Materials: aluminum side plates, braking pad, cam and wheel in stainless steel, handle in recycled polyamide - Certifications: CE EN 15151-1, UKCA, UIAA - All plastic components, including the handle, are made from recycled polyamide.
