As one of the most durable foam-based helmets in the Black Diamond collection, the Vision MIPS is made of EPP composite foam with molded EPS and a polycarbonate shell to protect against dents. The helmet features revolutionary MIPS technology, which protects the head from rotational forces during impacts from an angle. This additional protection reduces rotational forces during an impact. The movable second shell, mounted between the helmet and the head, dissipates energy through movement without transmitting force to the head. The improved fit on the sides and back enhances protection and meets proposed UIAA requirements. Strategically placed ventilation ports ensure airflow in warm temperatures. The Vision's attachment system and chin strap are lightweight and comfortable, while integrated headlamp clips are positioned to prevent material snagging when putting on slings, allowing for easy climbing in the dark.
