Performance and Versatility
The Volta 9.2 mm rope is designed as a multi-use rope suitable for sport climbing, mountaineering, and demanding routes. Its multi-type classification allows for use in single, half, or twin mode, providing flexibility according to terrain and technical needs.
Treatments and Durability
The Duratec Dry treatment repels water and limits soiling to maintain cable characteristics in wet and cold conditions. This treatment is formulated without intentional PFAS addition. The UltraSonic Finish reinforces the core-sheath junction at the ends to prevent fraying.
Handling and Safety
The 40-carrier construction and sheath proportion (approximately 42%) provide excellent grip and precise control during maneuvers. Dynamic and static performance (elongation, impact force) meet CE EN 892 and UIAA standards ensuring recognized safety criteria.
User Comfort
The EverFlex treatment thermally stabilizes the core strands for consistent behavior over time, while the ClimbReady Coil makes the rope ready to use and reduces initial wear related to unrolling.
Practical Markings
The rope features a middle marking facilitating length management and belaying and rappelling maneuvers, essential for organization and safety on the wall.
