The practical solution for cooling the legs after intense physical exercise. Simply soak your legs in water for 5 to 8 minutes (maximum 30 minutes*), without ice or refrigeration. The boot is designed to provide uniform cooling without restricting movement. Air is the element that keeps the fabric cool once it has been activated by water. The sporty 3D outer mesh allows a constant flow of air to reach the cold water material, prolonging the cooling effect of the boots. Once saturated, the cold water material is activated and provides a cool, cushioned layer that conforms to the anatomical shape of your horse's leg. Adjustable Velcro straps create compression that promotes recovery. Our specialized Air Tech fabrics have been developed for all equine disciplines to ensure that key properties facilitate the technical performance and protection required for our products. Recommendations We recommend that the boots are used for no more than 2-4 hours per use. The boots can be worn in the stable or while working. The legs must be clean before applying the boots. We recommend soaking them in cold water for 5-8 minutes before applying to the leg. Squeeze out excess water gently. Under no circumstances should the boot be applied dry. Room temperature water can also be used as the fabric technology lowers the temperature. Do not soak excessively - maximum 30 minutes. Once dry, boots should be stored in an airtight box or bag for optimal use. If the boots reach body temperature, simply add cold water to reactivate them. The boot can be used during reactivation (left on the leg). Make sure that dry spots are checked at regular intervals, especially on hot days. High humidity (90%) reduces the ability of the fabric to cool the product. CAUTION Boots should be soaked in cold water for 5-8 minutes (maximum 30 minutes) before use to ensure complete saturation.
