Electrostimulation works using a current of up to 90 mA, which varies between the active phase and the recovery phase (for Sport programmes), causing your muscles to contract. The contractions in the active phase stimulate muscle activity and make your physical efforts more intense. Meanwhile, the contractions in the recovery phase, which are weaker and at frequencies designed for this purpose, help your muscles recover between each active phase.
