Finis Iso Paddles Yellow/Black
Iso Paddles are strap-free paddles designed to isolate specific muscle groups, develop correct hand position and improve movement perception
Sold and shipped by Akron Switzerland
FINIS Iso Strapless Swim Paddles (Size S) are technique-focused training aids that create a slight imbalance in the catch to increase stroke awareness and improve hand position. The strapless, ergonomic shape fits the contour of the hand and promotes a palm-positive grip so paddles remain in place when used with proper technique. The convex design highlights sweep tendencies before the catch and helps swimmers self-correct their stroke. Use the outer edge (grey on left, yellow on right) to isolate triceps and trapezius, and the inner edge (yellow on left, grey on right) to engage pectorals, biceps and deltoids. Recommended for drill- and stroke-specific training across all four strokes: outside isolation for backstroke and freestyle, inside isolation for breaststroke and butterfly. Finished in black with grey and yellow accents, these paddles develop proper hand placement, increase feel for the water and support targeted muscle engagement during swim practice.
The Iso paddles from FINIS are strapless paddles designed to isolate specific muscle groups, develop proper hand position and heighten stroke awareness. The FINIS Iso paddles are uniquely designed to create an imbalance in the catch phase of a stroke, which forces swimmers to apply more pressure on either side of the paddle in order to maintain a proper stroke. The variance encourages swimmers to pay increased attention to hand position in the water, keeping it level and consistent throughout the catch and pull of each stroke. Using the edge on the inside allows swimmers to isolate and engage the pectoral, bicep and deltoid muscles. Using the edge on the outside allows swimmers to isolate and engage the triceps and trapezius muscles. Features & Benefits: PALM POSITIVE Paddles will remain in place with proper stroke technique TECHNIQUE PADDLE Intended for use on drills and stroke-specific training SELF-CORRECT TECHNIQUE Increases the ‘feel for the water’ and allows swimmers to make adjustments to improve stroke technique STRAPLESS DESIGN Ergonomic shape designed to fit the natural contour of the hand RECOMMENDED STROKE ISOLATIONS Versatile tool for all four swim strokes. Outside Isolation: backstroke & freestyle Inside Isolation: breaststroke & butterfly HEIGHTENS STROKE AWARENESS Convex design brings awareness to sweep tendencies prior to catch OUTSIDE ISOLATION Using the edge on the outside (grey on left, yellow on right) allows swimmers to isolate and engage the triceps and trapezius muscles INSIDE ISOLATION Using the edge on the inside (yellow on left, grey on right) allows swimmers to isolate and engage the pectoral, bicep and deltoid muscles |
