The ears of the fly mask are made of a strong and very effective fly knitting mesh. This is very breathable and light on those hot summer days. The nose flap of the mask is detachable with velcro, which offers you the opportunity to choose the amount of protection. The new classic Fly Masks are the perfect solution for breeding mares and horses that are outside 24/7. They will stay perfectly in place all day long while being 100% comfortable for your horse. Fabrics & materialsThe mask is made of a strong mesh fabric and lycra that won’t allow any bugs from flying in. Due to the plastic piping on the forehead, the mask doesn’t touch the horse’s eyes and always pops back to its original shape. The mask closes with a strong velcro under the horse’s jaw. However, we recommend washing it as infrequently as possible and using our protective washing bags in order to maintain quality over the long term. We also recommend using professional machines (larger capacity) to limit damage due to the drum of the normal washing machine. To dry it, simply put it outside on a sunny day. The dryer is not recommended.
