The 28 cm wide edge is filled with soft foam and fits neatly onto the jumping mat with fine mesh. The edge keeps the springs completely out of sight and out of reach, while the 20 mm soft foam padding cushions a wrong landing. This keeps your trampoline safe and well-maintained, even after several years of intensive use.
Safe jumping starts at the edge The space between the jumping mat and the frame is where most accidents happen. This edge fully covers that space and is equipped with fine mesh on the underside of the inner edge, minimizing the gap between the jumping mat and the edge. Extra padding on the underside also increases the space between the springs and the edge, preventing the springs from pressing through the material.
Made to stay outside The edge is made of sturdy double-layer PVC weighing 550 grams, in matte black with a white inner edge. This material is resistant to rain and UV radiation, so the edge does not fade or harden quickly and can remain outside all year round. This keeps the sleek appearance of your groundlevel trampoline for years.
When to replace the protective edge? Of all the parts of your trampoline, the protective edge takes the most wear: sun, rain, and daily use. Replace the edge as soon as the material tears, hardens, or the padding becomes visible, because then it no longer provides the protection it was designed for. With a new edge, your trampoline immediately looks like new and you can continue jumping safely.
