The Petzl Laser Speed 17 cm ice screw features 3 blades for optimized penetration in all types of ice. The steel tube and blades ensure easy placement and enhanced durability, with a compact aluminum foot. The integrated folding handle provides excellent grip and optimized leverage for quick screwing. Weighing only 143 g, it has a color code for quick length identification. Designed and manufactured in France, it complies with CE EN 568 and UIAA 151 standards. The Laser Speed screw is made with a lightweight steel tube and three-tooth blades to combine strength, lightness, and efficiency. The three-tooth blade has an optimized shape that facilitates placement in ice and makes sharpening easier and more durable. This geometry improves the grip of the screw from the first turns.
