Gameplay of KanJam
KanJam is played 2 versus 2. The teams face each other, with one player acting as the thrower and the other as the deflector at the target. At the beginning, it is decided which team starts. The two targets are placed about 15 meters apart. The goal of the game is to reach exactly 21 points or to win the game instantly with an instant win.
Scoring
The thrower attempts to throw the frisbee at the opposing target. The teammate at the target may deflect the disc during flight but may not catch, carry or hold it.
If the frisbee hits the target after being deflected by the teammate, the team receives one point. If the frisbee hits the target directly without being touched by the teammate, two points are awarded. If the teammate strikes the frisbee from above directly into the opening of the target, three points are scored.
If the frisbee is thrown directly through the opening or slot of the target without any contact, it is an instant win and the game ends immediately, regardless of the current score.
Important rules
Teams alternate throwing. The disc may not be caught, carried or held. KanJam is easy to learn, quick to set up and thrives on teamwork, precision and fun.
