Darts cause a "knocking sound" when hitting the board, which can sometimes be very disturbing to those around you or your neighbors. Together with sound insulation experts, Karella has now developed the perfect solution to almost completely eliminate the noise. Dart players have been waiting for such an invention for a long time. The secret of the Karella soundproofing lies in its material composition and construction: The 2-piece Karella soundproofing consists of a soundproofing core to which the dartboard is attached and a soundproofing ring. Both parts are made of millions of highly specialized sound insulating fibers. The interplay between the sound insulation core and the surrounding sound insulation ring provides almost complete sound decoupling. When the arrow hits the board, the dull knocking sound is transmitted through the back of the dartboard to the entire fiberboard. Professional measurements showed a noise reduction of over 80% in adjacent rooms. The measured values were below 30 dB. With its size, the anthracite-colored Karella sound insulation covers an area of 12 cm around the dartboard and is therefore ideal as a surround. If necessary, any commercially available surround can also be used additionally without restrictions. The Karella sound insulation is 100% Made in Germany. The fiber material has been tested for harmful substances according to Öko-Tex, without any chemical additives. The optically attractive Karella sound insulation is suitable for any traditional dartboard and the most common dartboard lights can also be used. The Karella sound insulation with integrated surround comes with a Karella oche, plugs and screws.
