When a muscle, joint, tendon, or ligament is overworked or damaged, the area becomes inflamed or swollen. This swelling is made up of blood (internal bleeding from the wound) and other fluids. The excess fluid must be removed by the lymphatics in the area, but if the inflammation is too much, the lymphatics are compressed and cannot do their job. This can lead to a continuous cycle of inflammation and pain, which limits performance and slows down the healing process. When the KT TAPE Adhesive Tape is applied to the skin over an inflamed area, the stretching of the tape gently lifts the skin, creating a space between the skin and the inflamed tissue. This helps reduce the pressure on the blood vessels and lymphatic vessels, increasing the flow of fluids. Improved blood flow increases the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to injured tissues, which speeds up the healing process.Improved lymphatic circulation reduces swelling, which decreases the activation of pain receptors and produces immediate relief. Effective for: Pain relief - Improved lymphatic circulation - Reduced swelling - Decreased activation of pain receptors - Immediate relief. Reduced swelling and inflammation - Reduced pressure on the lymphatic drainage channels - Better evacuation of the various fluids that are in the inflamed area. Prevents and / or relieves spasms and cramps - Prevents the build-up of lactic acid. Faster healing of tired, injured muscles. Inflamed muscles contain products such as lactic acid that limit the ability to continue training. When KT TAPE tape is applied to these areas, it increases the removal of these products and allows for faster recovery. This translates into better performance in an endurance event or more complete recovery between repetitive, high intensity events. Provides support without restriction of movement. The unique elastic properties of KT TAPE bands allow it to provide support to an injured area, without restricting range of motion (140% elasticity) - Latex free. Allows athletes to stay active in the event of injury. This is one of the most important benefits of the KT TAPE for all athletes. When used as a therapeutic tape, KT TAPE prevents excessive stretching or contractions of injured areas. Except in the case of serious injuries, this can allow athletes to continue training while their injuries heal. By applying KT TAPE to affected areas, athletes benefit from external support that helps prevent further injury and allows damaged body tissue to rest and heal naturally, despite continued activity. Improves muscle strength and tone in cases of muscle weakness. KT TAPE adhesive not only supports these muscles, but it can also improve muscle activation. Find more taping vi
