The battery is the central point of your lighting system, so it's important to take care of it. It's a vital element for the equipment to function correctly. After a long period of inactivity, it’s important to check their autonomy. The storage location of your equipment will play a crucial role in the lifespan of a lithium battery. If exposed to temperatures that are too low or too high, batteries tend to degrade. Ideal storage temperatures are between 10° and 15°. At ambient temperatures around 20 degrees, a battery loses about 3% of its charge per month. Our advice: A charge cycle every 4 to 6 months at a minimum during prolonged inactivity helps Lithium batteries maintain their effectiveness. Another point, storing them with a charge level between 55 and 75% allows for increased longevity. NEVER store them below 5% autonomy as any battery will tend to lose its effectiveness over the long term. Remember to recharge them after each use. So don't forget to regularly recharge to avoid any battery issues.
