The SirJoseph Erratic Plus III 1000 mummy sleeping bag - 200 cm - left zip - is a sleeping bag from the Alpine series, suitable for trekking below Everest or climbing Island Peak or Mera Peak. The sleeping bag offers protection against wind and water as well as perfect thermal insulation.
These down sleeping bags provide excellent support during expeditions in mountainous regions. The sleeping bags are designed with a focus on minimal pack volume, maximum thermal comfort, and protection against rain, snow, frost, and wind. The Erratic Plus III 1000 sleeping bag is designed for extreme alpine conditions and offers reliable protection against harsh weather. It even allows you to sleep under the open sky. The Alfa chamber construction and specially developed close-fitting hood shape provide even better insulation.
The outer shell of the sleeping bag is made from Excel Dry Light 100 (nylon with PU lamination). The efficient membrane keeps moisture from the outside out while allowing moisture produced by the body to escape. The ripstop structure is abrasion-resistant and improves tear protection. Thanks to its complete windproofness, there is no thermal leakage, making products from this material 5 degrees warmer than products made from standard fabrics. Waterproof rating 10,000 mm H2O, DWR water resistance, breathability 18,000 g/m2/24h, weight 49 g/m2, and 100% windproof.
The inside of the sleeping bag is made from Softex 20D DWR (100% polyester). This fabric is also specially designed for extreme sleeping bags, with the DWR treatment further enhancing water resistance. Breathability and wind resistance of 90%, weight 55 g/m2, water resistance 350 mm H2O DWR.
The goose down used, with a fill power of 650 cuin/oz (measured according to a European standard), is exclusively of European origin. The focus is on maximum warmth, loft, and minimal weight. The feathers are veterinary tested and all listed parameters are based on the international IDFB (International Down and Feather Bureau) protocol.
