The NNormal Tomir is a highly versatile trail running shoe designed to tackle all types of terrain. Developing this model required a tremendous amount of energy from its designers, with one key objective: creating a robust and durable shoe capable of handling even the most demanding conditions. After extensive testing, Kilian Jornet particularly appreciated its resistance and long-lasting durability.
The Tomir delivers outstanding grip on both dry and muddy terrain thanks to its Vibram Megagrip LiteBase outsole and its thick 5 mm lugs. The LiteBase construction is also 30% lighter than conventional Vibram outsoles.
The upper combines monofilament polyester and TPE, providing excellent resistance to abrasion, snags and everyday wear. It is stitched directly onto the midsole using an artisanal construction technique, further enhancing the shoe's durability. The asymmetrical lacing system helps reduce pressure points while providing a secure and precise fit.
For cushioning, the EVA foam midsole keeps the shoe lightweight while delivering excellent cushioning and long-lasting energy return. The result is a dynamic and responsive ride that helps you maintain speed throughout your runs.
The Tomir is suitable for all trail running distances, reflecting one of NNormal's core philosophies: buy less, but buy better.
