The Petzl CROLL L ventral clamp is specifically designed for rope ascents and is used in conjunction with the ASCENSION handle clamp. Its design facilitates vertical progression by providing a reliable and ergonomic contact point on the chest.
Safety is enhanced by a closure integrated into the body of the device to prevent accidental snagging. The mechanism opens with a simple pinch for quick interventions even while wearing gloves.
The stainless steel cam features a self-cleaning slot that optimizes grip and performance on dirty or frozen ropes. Stainless steel also ensures better corrosion resistance for increased durability.
The lower hole is hollowed and angled to keep the clamp flat against the body, while the upper hole allows for SECUR strap attachment to maintain the device in position during ascent.
Made from aluminium, stainless steel, and nylon, the CROLL L complies with CE EN 567, CE EN 12841 type B, EAC, and NFPA 1983 Technical Use standards, ensuring performance suitable for professional and sports uses.
