The Hutchinson Python 2 tire is the evolution of the famous Python, a mountain bike tire with a proven reputation in Cross-Country. The Python 2 has been considerably improved. Its grip, performance and resistance have been improved thanks to a state-of-the-art design.
The Tubeless Ready version of the Hutchinson Python 2 is a lightweight, high-performance tire. Inflated at lower pressures than an inner tube, the tire deforms better for greater comfort, grip and performance.
RR XC GUM: RR XC Tri-Compound construction with a harder structure compound (94 ShA) for perfect grip, an intermediate compound (70 ShA) on the tread to enhance performance, and a softer compound on the outside for grip (50 ShA). This compound is designed for speed.

Side blocks divided into 3 sections: better deformation when cornering and greater grip Inverted pistol studs: ensure optimum transition between side studs and center blocks to guarantee grip Limited-spacing central studs: ensure permanent contact with the ground, even in rocky passages Asymmetrical tread to optimize traction. Reduced center stud height for speed and performance on dry terrain Bevelled central studs for exceptional performance and permanent contact with the ground Profiled tread bottom for added traction and resistance.
