The Maxxis Reaver tire is the fast gravel tire thanks to its tread pattern, low profile, and lightweight construction. The tread pattern uses diamond-shaped blocks to reduce rolling resistance and improve grip in dusty or loose conditions. Grooves arranged in groups of three provide better grip during hard braking, while the side knobs are closely spaced and staggered to ensure consistent grip in corners. A sipe (groove) in each of the side knobs allows them to flex and adapt to the terrain, further enhancing traction.
