For the user who prefers a wide seat, Repente has designed a new saddle, compact and ultra light. The dimensions of Latus CL are 240 mm x 152 mm and its weight is only 145 grams. The structure is entirely made of unidirectional autoclave-machined carbon, a process that maximizes the mechanical properties of the material. The frame has differentiated sections. Latus CL has a flattened rear support surface to offer optimal support in the case of very pronounced distance between the ischial tuberosities. The saddle is crossed axially by a canal whose shape follows the bone profile according to the pelvic tilt. The anatomical channel reaches its maximum depth where it is necessary to ensure optimal relief for the perineal area. The curvature between the wide part of the saddle and the front part, which is more tapered, has been studied to guarantee maximum freedom of movement for the leg and to avoid any problems of friction on the inside of the thigh. Viewed from the side, the upper profile of the saddle has a slight central depression to help maintain the most comfortable position and counteract the tendency to slide forward. The generous padding in high-performance Eva material is present right up to the front, preventing the rider from feeling tedious and numb even when pedaling in an aerodynamic position.
