The Stan’s Original DART Tool is a compact tubeless tyre repair solution designed specifically for bicycle tyres. First introduced in 2019, the DART (Dual Action Repair for Tubeless) system was the first plug developed specifically for bicycle tubeless tyres rather than scaled-down automotive repair plugs.
The latest version features an updated stainless steel insertion rod and an improved DART design refined through years of real-world riding and testing.
Using a flexible, laser-cut woven material, the DART conforms to irregular puncture shapes caused by sharp debris or jagged rocks. The material is treated with a reactive compound that bonds with liquid tubeless sealant inside the tyre, forming both a mechanical and chemical seal to permanently repair holes too large for sealant alone.
Lightweight and compact at just 15g, the DART Tool easily fits into any pocket, tool roll or saddle bag. The base of the moulded tool body also includes a Presta valve core remover, allowing quick sealant top-ups on the trail.
