The Litetrek II is a double-wall tent for 2 people, designed for lightweight trekking in alpine terrain, where optimal protection against harsh weather conditions, great stability in windy conditions, and the use of a compact and lightweight backpack are essential. A three-season tent, it is optimized for use during the mildest months of the year. Wind tunnel tests for stability at 90 km/h have been conducted by the Technical University of Munich. Its robust and reliable semi-geodesic double-wall construction puts two layers of fabric between you and the elements, allows for efficient use of space, and ensures a perfect balance between weather protection and good ventilation. 100% freestanding, it sets up easily on rocky terrain or in tight alpine spots where you can't pitch a tent with pegs and guy lines. Alternatively, anchor points can be extended for more flexibility, for example on snow-covered ground. The flysheet is made of tear-resistant 50D polyester, water-repellent and coated with PU with a water column of 3,000 mm, the floor is made from tear-resistant 70D nylon coated with PU, resistant with a water column of 5,000 mm, and the inner tent is made of tear-resistant 66D polyester featuring a mesh and a mesh entrance to create a mosquito barrier. Ventilation is regulated by a panel with zips at the back (which can be used from inside and outside) allowing you to adjust the fresh air and prevent moisture from entering. Additionally, our 3S Speed Set Up solution with its flat and short sleeves and hooks ensures easy and efficient setup of the tent. And if the weather is nice, and the nights are mild, you can keep it simple and only set up the flysheet.
