The Goodyear XPLR Inter tyre is part of a revolutionary wheel and tyre system in the gravel world. This versatile tyre pairs with the ultra-wide 303 XPLR S and SW wheels from Zipp to provide a fast wheel/tyre combination on all types of gravel terrain. It's suitable for dry and mixed surfaces. Current gravel wheel systems are essentially robust versions of the lightweight, rigid, narrow, and aerodynamic systems designed for road use. The issue is that gravel riding subjects your arms to painful vibrations that slow you down and, over time, increase fatigue. Additionally, gravel tyres often negate the aerodynamic advantages of traditionally narrow road rims. The new XPLR wheel/tyre system takes a radically different approach and optimizes the component dimensions to achieve the fastest setup on the market. Besides unmatched aerodynamic benefits for gravel, the resulting rim width also allows for reduced tyre pressure, which helps eliminate vibrations and save energy. Paired with the 303 XPLR wheel, the XPLR Inter tyre offers the greatest versatility for gravel and adapts to most situations. Its tight centre design provides a fast rolling surface, while the wider side knobs ensure grip and confidence in turns. The soft and lightweight construction enhances ride quality. The M:Wall reinforcements on the sidewalls add a layer of protection against cuts or pinch flats, allowing you to ride at the lowest pressure possible. Lastly, the bead dimensions have been determined to ensure an easy assembly and a secure fit on the Zipp TSS rims. Only approved tyres can be used on XPLR wheels.
