Safety and Compliance The Scorpio Vertigo SW features a compact energy absorber compliant with EN 958 and is certified by CE and UIAA. The VERTIGO Wire-Lock carabiners offer a Keylock system and double action auto-locking, minimizing the risk of accidental opening and facilitating clipping.
Design and Ergonomics Designed for maneuverability, the lanyard combines technical materials (high-density polyethylene, polyester, aluminum) and a swiveling swivel that prevents tangling of strands, ensuring more comfortable and unobstructed progression.
Handling and Comfort The ergonomic carabiners with large openings ensure excellent grip and quick operations, even with gloves. The elasticated strands follow the climber's movements to reduce discomfort during transitions.
Main Technical Features Reduced weight (approx. 385-500 g depending on versions), retracted length 70 cm, extended up to 110 cm, usage range 40-120 kg, incorporated short strand (26 cm) for safe resting.
Maintenance and Lifespan Simple maintenance: allow to air dry and store away from UV and moisture. Maximum recommended lifespan up to 10 years according to manufacturer guidelines, with individual identification for tracking and inspection.
