Process
This thermoelectric or Peltier effect electric cooler, in MAX refrigeration mode, can reach a temperature of 17°C below an ambient temperature of 32°C, without adding cold (e.g.: ice packs).
Safety
Do not put anything on top of the cooler where there are ventilations (grey part). In some vehicles the power socket continues to work when the vehicle is stopped, without contact. In this case, unplug your cooler to avoid discharging your car battery. If the outside temperature is low (below 15°C), the motor switches off momentarily to prevent ice from forming.
Recommendations for use
In order to increase the thermal performance of your electric cooler, we recommend that you: - Leave it plugged in in MAX mode (50 dB). The 1st mode is recommended at night (the outside temperature is lower); it reduces noise, 38 dB at 50 cm above the motor, - Finish inflating it by mouth using the valve, - Use ice packs, - Leave your cooler in the shade, - Open it only when necessary and close it quickly.
Power consumption
Mains and cigarette lighter adapters are supplied with the cooler. The cooler's consumption using the first mode: - 16 Wh at 220 V (mains socket) - 16 Wh at 12 V (cigarette lighter socket) The cooler's consumption in MAX mode (second mode): - 56 Wh at 220 V - 50 Wh at 12 V Consumption figures are given with a tolerance of plus or minus 5 Wh.
Power supply cables
220 V cable: 165 Cm in length - EU plug - C7 plug - Section: 2 X 0.75 mm² Cable 12V : 195 Cm length - cigarette lighter plug - Cooler compartment - Cross section: 2 X 0.75 mm²- Fuse 7 A
Information
This cooler is not a refrigerator, i.e. the interior temperature will change during your trip. You can put ice packs inside to improve the performance of the cooler. Depending on the outside temperature, there may be a little water from condensation. You must remove it. Do not put ice cubes inside. Too much humidity can damage the product.
Dimensions
When unfolded, the cooler's dimensions are: Height : 46 cm | Length: 43 cm | Width: 33 cm Internal dimensions: Height : 32,5 cm | Length: 35 cm | Width: 27 cm When folded, the cooler becomes more compact and has the following dimensions: Height : 22 cm | Length: 43 cm | Width: 33 cm
WATERPROOFING
Warning! This cooler is watertight if you attach the bag inside. However, it’s normal for there to be moisture or water inside the cooler (due to condensation for example). The bag is provided but if you need to order a new bag, copy the code in brackets (8502029) and paste it into the search bar on our website.
Care
The watertight bag is removable, it protects the cooler from dirt and prevents you from having to clean your product too often. The bottom of the cooler is removable so it can be thoroughly cleaned. Just pull on the little tab.
Insulation
This cooler is made of polyurethane foam which improves the thermal insulation.
CARRYING COMFORT
You can carry it alone using the shoulder strap or between 2 people using the handles on the sides.
FOLDING
Thanks to the folding design, you can make the cool box smaller to save on space. Here are our tips for correct folding: - Open the valve, close the zip, - Put the cooler down horizontally, valve side up, and grab both sides with your hands, - Push down to release the air, - Put it back vertically without releasing the sides and press on the top to compress it to the maximum, - Close the valve, - Loop the elastic around the cooler to keep it closed.
Durability
We have used reinforced 600 denier* polyester fabric (PES) for the bottom of the cooler to increase the product's durability outdoors and in the mountains. *The denier indicates the weight in grams of yarn over a length of 9 metres; so a 600-denier fabric has a weight of 600 g in 9 m of length.
