RCR-X OUR EXTREME RANGE
The RCR-X range, which stands for eXtreme raCeR, is Van Rysel's dedicated time trial range. The faster you ride, the more you have to battle air resistance as it fights your acceleration. The XCR range is at the cutting edge of research in terms of aerodynamics. All of the products have been designed in a digital simulation and then tested in a wind tunnel. We compare our products to be sure that the cyclists who place their trust in us always get the very best product we can create.

LATEST GENERATION HELMET
The RCR-X helmet is a latest-generation helmet with a very large volume and a very short ‘body’.Highly effective above 40 km/h, it will help you beat your records. Its large volume is particularly stable, even in crosswinds.Used by our team's riders in the Tour de France, it has demonstrated its full potential in very high-level races.
HIGH PERFORMANCE AND COMFORT
Our RCR-X is both extremely high-performance and comfortable over long distances.Having a short helmet is much less of a disadvantage at times when your neck is relaxed, when long helmets are more susceptible to wind resistance. It is therefore the ultimate weapon for long-distance triathletes
VISION QUALITY
Without impeccable vision, there can be no performance.The helmet comes in a cover with two visors. - A tinted visor (category 3) for timed runs in sunny weather - A transparent visor (category 1) for timed runs in cloudy weather
Ventilation
Recent studies show that heat management during exercise is a key factor in performance. Located in a high-pressure zone, the air intake is optimally positioned to maintain aerodynamics. This helmet has a wide, deep duct that connects to the rear extractor, allowing heat to be evacuated very efficiently.
RETURN CONDITIONS (SPECIFIC TO PPE)
This helmet is personal protective equipment (PPE), so its protection will depend on the condition of your helmet. We can only accept helmets returned in new condition. If your helmet doesn't suit you, please return it with the user guide and tags.
HOW LONG HELMETS LAST
Helmets don't last forever. To ensure maximum safety, we recommend replacing your helmet at least every 5 to 7 years. It is important to store it in its case, in a dry, cool place away from sunlight. Extreme temperatures will deteriorate the helmet's foam more quickly. After a significant impact, it is essential to replace your helmet, since it may no longer be effective if there are cracks inside the structure.
