What makes sports earphones different from standard earphones?
When you exercise, your whole body moves. Your earphones need to remain perfectly stable in your ears. Exercise makes you sweat, so your earphones need to be sweat-proof.And you still need to be able to hear external sounds. These 3 needs guided our choices throughout the design of the WE100 sports earphones.
Earphones that stay in place when you exercise!
In order to make your WE100 Decathlon wired earphones perfectly stable in your ears: - The silicone buds were designed with wing tips which fit into your ears.They keep the earphones in place without causing discomfort. - We added a clip to the WE100 earphones so you can attach the cable to your T-shirt or jacket.
Balanced sound thanks to “bass-reflex” technology
To make the WE100 earphones worthy of your favourite tracks, we incorporated a miniature version of "bass-reflex" technology, often used in home speakers: a tube at the back of the earphone creates an outward vent.This system creates a well-balanced sound by emphasising the bass, which can sound muffled in earphones of this type.
Gentle on your ears
We selected soft silicone for the parts of the earphones that are in contact with your ears (the tips). We designed the tips so they don't enter your ear canal. This avoids the feeling of pressure that can occur when running.To design these ear tips, we studied ear morphology and carried out comfort tests with our testers.
Good perception of external sounds
Whether you're exercising in the city, in a park or in the countryside, it's not nice feeling cut off from the world. We chose an "open" design.That means the earbuds don't enter your ear canal. This is more comfortable and allows outside sounds to reach your ear.
No fear of perspiration!
When it's hot, you sweat. The Decathlon WE100 earphones are sweat-proof. Textile membranes positioned over the acoustic holes in the earphones protect them from perspiration.
Silicone tips securely attached to the earphones
On our previous wired earphones, many of you told us that the ear tips came off on their own.That's why we've designed a system to keep the tips in place on the earpiece, so this doesn't happen any more.If you do lose the tips, contact our support team to order a new pair.
Washable silicone tips
If, after many sessions, you feel that the earphones need a little clean, you can detach the silicone tips and run them under water.To clean the earphones themselves, you can wipe them with a cloth.Do not run them under water, as they are not made to be submerged.

The Decathlon WE100 earphones are equipped with a remote control and microphone so that you can: - pause your music (press the button) - skip to the next track (press the button twice) - answer a call (press the button) - reject a call (press the button twice) - hang up (press the button) - Open SIRI or Google Voice (press the button for 2 seconds)
