Bevelled bits allow for slight leverage and offer a little more control, promoting a responsive and correct head carriage. Durable, double-jointed rubber mouthpiece with copper pellets offers a higher level of comfort in the horse's mouth. The copper pellets help distribute pressure on the tongue and bars of the mouth, encouraging bite and contact. They also help prevent pinching of the lips and mouth bars, while reducing the nutcracker effect of a single-jointed bit. Ideal for horses that need a little more braking power but may be sensitive in the mouth. Measurements According to our size guide, the A and B measurements of this bit are as follows: 5.5' - A=15mm & B=65mm Rubber horse bits... Rubber coated bits generally have thicker mouthpieces, making them softer and ideal for horses with sensitive mouths or those who do not like metal bits. Our rubber bits have been heat treated to make them softer to the touch and more durable. Due to their thicker mouthpiece, they may not be suitable for horses with small mouths or large tongues. Pair your bevelled horse bit with one of our anatomical bridles. For health and hygiene reasons, this bit cannot be returned if removed from the model. Technical details
