Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are the first to be broken down during muscle catabolism (muscle loss). Scientific studies have shown that branched-chain amino acids are a remarkable energy source during intense exercise and that they play an important role in protein synthesis. BCAA 2200 contains an ideal and balanced dose of the three branched-chain amino acids: L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine. In addition, the inclusion of vitamins B2 and B6 supports its action. Riboflavin (vitamin B2) helps maintain normal red blood cells, protects cells from oxidative stress and helps reduce fatigue. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy metabolism and also plays a role in protein synthesis.
