The HIT N MOVE® Air Armor Body Protector™ is a body shield built for coaches and fighters who want realistic protection without sacrificing mobility. Its Air Armor™ technology uses precision-built air chambers distributed across the full surface of the shield: each punch compresses the chambers, which rebound instantly, absorbing and dispersing force across the coach's entire torso. This mechanism replaces the rigid foam of traditional body shields and reduces total weight to 1.13 kg — 40% lighter than classic foam shields. Total thickness is 10.2 cm (4"). Available in Black, hand-assembled and tested across thousands of rounds. The shape of the Air Armor Body Protector™ is built around human anatomy: it reproduces the solar plexus, rib cage and abdomen, allowing the boxer to strike realistic targets rather than a flat uniform surface. This anatomical realism improves body shot accuracy and sparring quality — the boxer hits where they would actually hit on an opponent. The ergonomic design fits the coach's body contours for stable support without excess compression, enabling extended sessions without shoulder fatigue. Each unit is hand-assembled and tested across thousands of rounds before release — the HIT N MOVE standard for equipment used in professional gyms. The Air Armor Body Protector™ is built for coaches who want to extend sessions with reduced physical strain, and for fighters who want to integrate realistic body work into training. Air Armor™ uses precision air chambers across the shield surface. Each punch compresses the chambers, which rebound instantly and disperse force across the full surface area. This mechanism absorbs impacts progressively — unlike rigid foam, which transmits vibrations directly into the coach's arms and shoulders. The chambers hold their shape between strikes, maintaining consistent protection throughout the session. How does the anatomical shape improve training? A flat, uniform body shield offers no distinct targets — the boxer hits a generic surface. The Air Armor Body Protector™ reproduces the solar plexus, rib cage and abdomen of the human body, forcing the boxer to aim at specific zones as in a real fight. This anatomical precision improves body shot quality and prepares the boxer to land on real targets in competition. Is 1.13 kg enough protection against heavy punches? Yes. Protection depends on the quality of the absorption system, not the weight of the shield. The Air Armor™ air chambers absorb and disperse force across the full surface more effectively than a heavier foam shield. The result is a shield that protects more while weighing 40% less — enabling longer sessions without fatigue. What is the difference between the Air Armor Body Protector™ and the Turtle Shield? The Turtle Shield is a handled shield held freely for body shot drills involving movement. The Air Armor Body Protector™ is a body shield worn on the torso with straps — the coach does not need to hold it, leaving both hands free for mitts or corrections. They complement each other: the Turtle Shield for mobile drills, the Air Armor Body Protector™ for stationary body work or light sparring. Is the Air Armor Body Protector™ suitable for sparring with powerful fighters? Yes. The shield is hand-assembled and tested across thousands of rounds before release. The Air Armor™ technology is built to absorb repeated heavy strikes without any degradation in protection over time.
