The Hayabusa Batroc boxing gloves are part of the Marvel Hero Elite collection, built on the technical foundation of the T3, Hayabusa's intermediate/advanced model. Georges Batroc is a Marvel universe villain: a legendary kickboxer and mercenary of questionable methods, known for his militaristic purple and gold gear. The design reproduces the character's signature elements — tactical vest, straps and purple/gold palette — as printed motifs across the entire glove. Beneath the design, the T3 technology is unchanged: the Dual-X system (2 interlocking velcro straps) combined with 4 Fusion Splinting rails integrated into the cuff, Deltra-EG multi-layer padding on the knuckles, temperature-regulating and antibacterial AG Fabric lining, high-density Vylar exterior. The thumb is attached in an ergonomic position with perforated palm and interior grip bar. Each pair is delivered with a Hayabusa X Marvel certificate of authenticity, making the Batroc both a full-performance training glove and an official Marvel collector's piece. Available in 12 and 16 oz. Handcrafted by specialised artisans. Georges Batroc is a Marvel Comics villain, a legendary kickboxer and mercenary of French origin. First appearing in 1966, he is one of Captain America's recurring adversaries, known for his savate and kickboxing techniques. His signature purple and gold militaristic outfit, with tactical vest and multiple straps, is the main motif of these gloves. Batroc appeared on screen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. What is the difference between the Batroc and the standard T3? The Batroc glove is built on the same technical construction as the T3: Dual-X, Fusion Splinting, Deltra-EG, Vylar, AG Fabric. The difference lies in the printed motif inspired by Batroc's costume and the Marvel certificate of authenticity included with each pair. The standard T3 is available in 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 oz in multiple colours; the Batroc is available only in 12 and 16 oz in the character's purple/gold colour scheme. It is both a full-performance training glove and an official collector's piece. How to choose between 12 and 16 oz? 12 oz suits bag work, pads and technical drills for most practitioners. 16 oz is recommended for sparring, body weights above 80 kg, or to maximise partner protection during exchanges. Both sizes carry the same T3 technology: only the padding volume changes between weights. For mixed bag/sparring use, the standard T3 in 14 oz can be an alternative if the Batroc is not available in that size. Will the pattern fade over time? The Batroc motif is printed on the Vylar using the processes Hayabusa uses across the entire Marvel Hero Elite collection. Vylar does not degrade with sweat as genuine leather does, which protects the colours over time. To maximise the motif's longevity, avoid prolonged contact with abrasive surfaces (bag hook, pad edge) and wipe the gloves with a damp cloth rather than a solvent spray after each session. How to maintain the Hayabusa Batroc gloves? After each session, air the gloves out without leaving them in a closed bag. Wipe the Vylar exterior and interior with a damp cloth or antibacterial sport spray. The AG Fabric antibacterial lining limits odour development. Never machine-wash or expose to a direct heat source. Vylar requires no leather conditioner. Where to buy Hayabusa Batroc Marvel gloves in Switzerland?
