The BR Single Jointed Snaffle Bit 18 mm is a classic and reliable bit that provides a stable, clear connection between the rider's hand and the horse's mouth. Thanks to the fixed bit rings, this snaffle bit lies quietly in the mouth and remains stable during riding. This makes this bit particularly suitable for horses that benefit from a consistent position without much movement of the mouthpiece.
About this bit
The single jointed mouthpiece provides a direct, clear action on the tongue and bars. This allows the rider to give precise aids, which is suitable during daily training, dressage work, or basic education of young horses. The fixed rings also ensure that the bit slides less through the mouth, which is often experienced as calmer and more pleasant by sensitive horses.
With a mouthpiece thickness of 18 mm, this snaffle bit offers a comfortable balance between firmness and comfort. The stainless steel ensures durability, easy cleaning, and a neutral taste that is well accepted by most horses.
This snaffle bit is a versatile choice for riders looking for stability, clear communication, and reliability during every ride.
Maddelin tip: Use a snaffle bit when your horse reacts restlessly to loose rings. The fixed rings often provide more stability and confidence in the contact.
