The CX21C is a stylish and modern cycling shoe with a classic look that offers a discreet appearance without compromising on comfort or performance. Built on our Competition last and inspired by the design of the CX238, the CX21C is an excellent choice for cyclists who value the adjustable fit and secure comfort that laces provide. The single-piece upper is padded as it wraps around your foot like a second skin, offering that legendary comfort from Lake. The heel support lining and fully carbon sole ensure that every pedal stroke is translated into performance and power. Last CX/TX Competition Last - With a profile specifically designed for very high cadence pedaling and higher pressure, our Competition last features a more curved profile than the Sport last. The main differences include increased toe pitch and heel elevation, a tighter heel fit, and a slightly wider forefoot to allow the foot to spread under high pedaling pressures. Outsole Our 100% carbon fiber Lake Competition sole guarantees maximum power transfer, with rigidity and security at every pedal stroke. Available with a 3-hole cleat pattern, you have multiple options for cleat positioning, helping you find your ideal pedal stroke. Lining The Clarino microfiber features a non-slip internal heel lining that helps maintain stability. This ultra-minimal upper is padded and wraps your foot with the ultimate fit thanks to the laces, maximizing comfort and a secure fit. A minimal front bumper adds protection to the front of the shoe, while feet benefit from a naturally shaped toe box. Closure Durable and easily replaceable laces provide unlimited and ultimate customization for fit and comfort, while maintaining a classic cycling shoe style. With the ultimate fit, the laces wrap the single-piece upper like a second skin.
